From the Frankenstraße stop, you reach Villa Hügel on foot in roughly 20 minutes.  Go to the Frankenstraße stop of bus No. 194 (on Graf-Bernadotte-Straße), which runs in the direction of Stadtwaldplatz. Walk down Frankenstraße in the direction of Stadtwaldplatz to the "Villa Hügel" stop – alternatively, you can, of course, also take bus No. 194. From there, you turn right into Haraldstraße, keep going straight on and you come directly to the main entrance.

Villa Hügel is Germany's largest "single-family home" – three generations of the Krupp family used it up to 1945 as a residence and for representative purposes. Art exhibitions are regularly held in Villa Hügel. The "Historical Exhibition Krupp" documents the history of the company, the family and the Krupp workers as well as the current activities of the Krupp group and Krupp foundation. Hügelpark has remained almost unchanged since 1914 and is one of Essen's natural monuments, not just because of its giant redwood trees.
